The main difference is in the material. The LT uses Polartec Classic 100 Micro, where, the R1 uses Polartec Power Dry. The power dry is heavier (about 2.5 oz for the R1 pullover), but should wick moisture better and would be warmer. If it makes a difference, the R1 also has a chest pocket. The price is about the same, so go with works best for you. Hope that helped!

I prefer the Delta LT to my R1. Way softer, and so much lighter. I can't get enough of mine.

I'd go for the Patagonia...but I'm biased because I own an R1 hoody. I think the patagonia is made better and fits better, but that is just my opinion. This is also a great product.
