I'll be traveling to Costa Rica in the spring and doing a lot of hiking. All day trips to and from our lodge.
Will these hold up well in the tropical climate? Will humidity affect them?
Are they pretty easy to get on and off in a hurry?

These should do fine the the humidity, but they're mesh so they won't be too waterproof. They take about the same amount of time on/off as a normal laced shoe...maybe a bit longer due to the higher laces, but not much.
