So, measure my head and I'm right between medium and large and I can't decide what size to buy. I may use my own hat's instead of the liner if it's thin or if it makes a difference. I'd just like some suggestions on what size to buy!

I would go try this on. not all helmets fit the same, and if this isn't the right one for your head then it won't work. you could always order both and send one back.
