I bought the Boa Arnuva trail shoe a few months back. I run only trails in the dirt. This summer was dry and I think could be why the boa system would stick when I was trying to loosen them after a few runs. Then it became very hard to tighten the system to my comforts. Then the right shoe's boa system failed and spins free. The shoes would still have some life, but I cannot tighten the right shoe. Is there a way to fix? Is there a way to clean the Boa system so it does not get hard to tighten early in the shoes life? Has there been other problems with boa system? Love the shoe and the system and would make them exclusive, but the system died before the shoe did. Let me know you thoughts.

I am not sure how to fix this - I had a friend who has this shoe who had the same issues and we couldn't figure it out. Assuming you bought the shoe from Backcountry, you can always return it and get a full refund and get another pair of the shoe or a different shoe.
