How is the fit of this jacket?

Plan on using it with just a tshirt under and I do much prefer a trim fit.

Theoretically I am more medium than small - but the jacket being a regular fit (not a trim fit), is there any chance a small will fit on me??

What is your experience, how 'roomy' is fit of this jacket?

By the way, I am 6.1tall 165lb - chest is 39 - tall and skinny/athletic some might say..

Anyone??

I am essentially your exact same dimensions (6' 1/2" with long arms, same weight and chest size) and would strongly recommend the size M. I've found that the Pata descriptions of fit (trim, regular, etc.) aren't always to be believed. This jacket has long arms which made it fit well on me, while the torso fit was trim and about perfect while wearing a t-shirt/base layer (whether short or long sleeved, or a slightly heavier layer like a close-fitting R1 top).
