My dog's girth measures about 35 inches. Should I get a medium or large pack?

the ruff wear website recommends taking the smaller size when inbetween sizes. In my experience the straps loosen up after a while, especially if you assist your dog over obstacles; therefore I wouldn't want that much extra slack. To be safe and to ensure the best fit, I would order both sizes and take some time fitting it properly.

Get the large size. This dog pack is very adjustable & the large fits down to 32" girth. Plus they can carry more food, etc.
