Has anyone worn these in sub-zero temps? Like snowshoeing in 10 degrees F? Are they warm enough for everyday wear in a cold winter mountain town where there's ice/snow on the ground for the next 4-5 months?

With good socks and no standing around you'll be fine.

I did Madison in -10 F and Adams in 3 F(2 separate occasions), lots of windchill both times, and they did fine. I did wear gaiters and do generally have warm feet, so your experience may vary. If you plan on hiking in those temps regularly, get a real pair of insulated mountaineering boots, as my feet do get cold summiting.

I have worn them in sub-freezing, but not sub-zero temperatures. As long as you have a pair of heavy socks and keep moving you should be fine. They are not insulated as Ben said, so you might be better off with a boot with more insulation. Try something like this: http://www.backcountry.com/outdoorgear/The-North-Face-Slot-GTX-Winter-Boot-Mens/TNF3311M.html

Also 10 degrees is not sub-zero. In that it is greater than 0.

They aren't insulated so if cold is your concern, better look for a pair that is. As long as you're moving though, you may be fine.
