How does the Bombshell fabric compare to other high end fabrics such as Gore Tex and HyVent?

i find anything beyond 20K waterproof to be over kill for fabric on skiing. some companies might claim more, but if you have 20K waterproof, its pretty much a rain jacket, minus the seams and zippers. there are no seams here, its welded, which i find much better. the zipper is as waterproof as you're going to find. as for breathing, personal experience is this breaths better than gore pro. you will find more breathing in event, if thats what you want, stoic has a shell for that too. i will take this for a trim fit tech shell over anything out there. other brands cost more, but they do not offer more performance. oh, i did not mention hyvent, i think it is below both gore and event on all issues.

I think its better than HyVent for both waterproof/breathable and better than GoreTex for breathability but not waterproofness.
