Have any bigger people used this chair? I'm 220# and it seems like those 2 thin nylon straps will snap the moment I lean back.

I a whooping 265 and I got into one of these things and I thought as you did "Will this Hold" well it did the job fine. I don't know what the weight rating is but go for it. I worry more about poping the sleeping pad.

It is the same webbing straps that climbers use. The webbing will hold up no problem (take a tug at the webbing straps on your backpack's shoulder straps. It'll hold). If anything the buckles would be the first to go, but these are pretty bomber too.
