I used the included balm they give you and I have never once had any moister issues. I've used them at -10F with 30 mph winds in Maine and my hands and fingers were nice and warm.

They are the best. They come with a balm you rub into the glove. They are the driest, and warmest glove I have ever tried. This is the glove you want!

They are leather you would have to treat them with Nikwax paste or glove proof to get them weather resistant. Wind proof they are. They are rather warm but it depends on how cold your hand get. I live in Cretsed Butte..gets pretty darn cold here and I pretty much use these year round. Another option would be the Seth Morrison Pro. It is warmer, has a waterproof /windproff membrane.
