I would like to purchase this as a gift for my 21 year old daughter. She likes to hike and plans on long adventures. She is about 5' 6" and weighs about 110 lbs. Do I need to buy a S or M? Also is this a good choice for me to make?

its a solid pack in my opinion.....the only difference between the sizes are the volumes, fitament for each pack is the same and quite adjustable. my g/f has the medium and she is 5'2"...it fits her great.
