A white bra underneath would definitely show up a little under the Glacier/Smoke color (as you can see in the picture), but not all that much...I mean, it's not quite enough to make it uncomfortably see-through, but I tend to wear a tank top or something under it if I'm heading out to run errands. Compared to the Rose/Smoke Backcountry Merino Zip Tee, it definitely seems like a thinner material, although both shirts say they are midweight.
