19Lives. The difference in weight between the Megalight and the Kiva is solely due to the difference in fabric. The Megalight is made with a 30D SilNylon. The Kiva is made with 75D 190T Polyester Ripstop with a 1500mm Polyester Urethane coating and DWR. The square footage on the Kiva is 85sq.ft. and the Megalight is 81sq.ft. ... so the Kiva is slightly bigger as well. Those are the main differences. Hope this info helps!
