condor triclimate vs vortex triclimate. Want something warm...

By Ranked #820 - Men's 3-in-1 Jackets November 17, 2009

condor triclimate vs vortex triclimate. Want something warm and windproof....college campus is windy even in Sept. Want something lightweight but can do the trick. Can't decide from the marketing info what the real differences are other than the hood and # of pockets.

I can't speak to the Vortex, but the Condor is definitely lightweight. the outer shell is Hyvent... I often wear this over a thick sweater and am completely warm. I especially like the inner shell... it's the Apex material which again is wind proof... if the temps aren't too low, you could probably get away with wearing just this.
