I'm looking for a longer length (at least 28 inches since I'm 6'1") rain jacket that I can pack through Europe and wear over a zip up fleece jacket for extra warmth. Does this have the length and the room?

length-wise this will definitely be long enough.

I'm 5'10" about 155lbs. Usually wear around a size 8 in womens. This is one of the longest jackets I have found. I also ordered the Falketind which is heavier and would probably be better for backpacking/skiing. As far as I know this is the longest women's jacket (unless you go up in size) I have found and I've ordered almost every brand. I ordered a medium and the length is generous.
