What size/model do you recommend?
I'm 5'7" and weigh ~128-138 lbs. I am a beginner snowshoer, but an avid skier, etc., hoping to have a shoe that will give me the flexibility to try different aspects of the sport. What size shoe you buy if you are in the weight range for both sizes? Is this particular model a good choice for an all-round shoe?

This would be a great all'rounder for snowshoeing. I have always felt that getting a little bit longer snowshoe is the better choice for more versatility. Longer is going to give you more options in the backcountry and in deeper snow. The main reason to get something a little smaller is if you're going to get into snowshoe running, but it is still possible on longer shoes. Hope that helps.
