What is the major improvement or difference from 2008 model? I could see the removable trim on the hood but what else? Is it puffier and warmer? I own Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero Jacket 650 fill and it is very warm and very puffy. I don't mind the puffiness at all because I hate being cold. When I tried the 2008 model, although it was 650 fill, it wasn't warm enough, so I had to return. I want to know if this year's model is similar to Sub Zero Jacket in turms of warmth.

Coconut. This is a re-design from last years model, new lines and all, and I think you will find it a bit warmer as well. The amount of down in the jacket was slightly increased which will help a bit with the warmth. Very different jackets... Sub Zero vs. DownTown Coat and due to the extra length and increase in down you'll find the DownTown to be a bit warmer. Hope this info helps!
