What is warmer, the North Face Tahoe Down Hooded jacket or the Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero SL Jacket? I live in a cold climate. This is not for use in mountaineering, but I do spend a lot of time outdoors and in the backcountry. Thanks!

I would go with the Tahoe...I find it VERY durable, and I'm not a big fan of detachable hoods.

Well the Mountain Hardwear hooded jacket is a lot more durable and not made out of cheap nylon, it is waterproofed and will stand up to just about anything. Also the hood is removable. I would definitely go with the Mountain Hardwear jacket.
