I'm looking for something to run in during the fall/winter...

I'm looking for something to run in during the fall/winter in 40 degree temps, will this be too thin or should I go w/ the 260. I'll be doing about 5 to 6 miles and don't want to wear a cumbersome jacket but at the same time don't want to freeze.

Go with the heavier one - SWool is great, but wind cuts thru it like nothing else, so overheating is not an issue, unless you wear it under a layer - then - go with thinnest fabric only
