I currently have Scarpa Spirit 4's which cause incredible pain in both my insteps, so I am hunting for a replacement. I have a high instep with D width foot. How would this boot compare? I am getting a wee bit gun shy about dropping 6-7 Franklins on boots that I am unable to use. Any sage advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, my Spirit 4's are 28 mondo. I understand that this boot tends to run big so with a 9 -9.5 foot should I figure on the 27 or 27.5?
