I am an athletic hiker, and will be spending a year straigh hiking up and down mountains, with an average load between 50-100lbs. I need something that is durable, stable and good traction. Any sugguestions on this boot?

I would not put that much weight on my back with these boots. They are not the most comfortable, but they get the job done. To be honest I was disappointed when I first got them, so I just use them to wear around town.

I think this boot would be just what you need. Heavy enough to carry the weight but light enough to keep you fresh on your feet.
