What is this like compared to Smartwool or Icebreaker?
Is this thin and cool enough to hike in the summer in the Sierras?
Is the material see through? Which color is not?

the flat lock seams are detailed in the small detail photos. this stitch uses 5 threads and holds the material flat. This 17.5 micron merino wool, is softer than smartwool, or icebreaker. Lightweight can be used in spring summer and fall, but can depend on early morning temps, to late afternoon temps. choose the darker color for more opacity.
