I am considering buying this bag for a safari to Africa. Two questions - As the bag has no telescoping handle, is it comfortable to reach the handle and pull in an airport. I am 5'10" tall.. Also, assuming I don't load it too heavily, will the size of this bag make it through present airline requirements? Thanks

1. you should be ok with pulling it, but if it's too uncomfortable why not attach a lanyard or show lace to pull it with? Sonds ghetto but it would work, I bet you'd want to take it off when it's being checked though, so it doesn't get caught up on conveyor belts and what not. Just a thought. 2. pack is 44x 20x 18 inches/110x49x46 cm. Most airlines have a carry on policy of 22” x 14” x 9” or 45 linear inch total. Is that what you meant? Because surely this isn't a good piece to use as a carry-on. All the Osprey's daypacks adhere to the 22” x 14” x 9” or 45 linear inch total guideline.
