This jacket only has a fleece lining around the neck for extra comfort- the rest of the interior is a brushed softshell which I think feels good over a tee shirt. I use this piece frequently as a warm weather outerwear jacket, and in cooler weather it becomes a midlayer under something else. One of the most versatile pieces that I use. Hope this helps
