Hello - There is no doubt that this is a warm jacket. It is 550 fill down insulated with a high loft fleece interior, so I think it would be suitable for all but the coldest conditions. In case you are looking for something for extreme cold conditions, I would point you towards The North Face Nuptse Jacket which will be a little warmer than the Siren. Hope this helps-
