They look stiff and uncomfortable. How do they feel? I have narrow feet and I hate wearing shoes, but I am moving to Alaska in the winter, so I don't really have an option.

This is the third year that we have purchased the North Face Greenland Zip boot for girls - two pair each season. I buy them for my girls, now age 11 and 8, and they have held up and kept them warm through all sorts of fun Alaskan outdoor activities. The boot is rated to -40 degrees and my kinds don't complain about their feet getting cold. As for comfort, I cannot personally attest to that, but the kids love them and say they are comfortable-enough to want them year after year.
