I am wondering what the lowest temperature this jacket can handle...and how about tolerating wind?

Hi Bobbie- comfort ranges vary pretty drastically from person to person, but in general I would probably call this jacket comfortable down to the mid 40 degree range. With regards to wind resistance, that won't be one of the strong points for this jacket as it is high loft fleece without any type of wind barrier. If you are looking for fleece with some type of wind blocking barrier, here are a couple of suggestions: -The North Face Windwall 2 jacket -The North Face Reversible Chameleon Jacket Hope this helps
