In addition to what Dave says, you could try using execessive amounts of fabric softner. This would also negatively affect any wicking/breathability of the jacket, but will help some with your problem.

Hello- unfortunately that is generally the nature of traditional pile fleece, and I don't think it is specific to the fleece used in the Khumbu jacket. Being the owner of 2 short hair dogs, traditional pile fleece isn't really an option for me, and I have switched over to is generally refered to as "hard face fleece". These types of fleece have much more dense weaves than pile fleece, and deal much better with dog hair and picking stuff up. An example of this type of jacket is The North Face Momentum Jacket. The other nice advantage of the hard face fabrics is that they tend to have more stretch as well. Sorry that I don't have any suggestions for your current jacket.
