how much support do these give? i'm looking for a good double boot for snowboard mountaineering, capable of decent ice climbing feel, but have been discouraged by the thickness of the sole under the heel of boots like the nupste, nepal evo gtx, and the baruntse. i would rather not be seperated from the deck of my board by another 2 inches anyone have any suggestions?
