I've had a T6 for three years now and love it! Was thinking about upgrading to the T6C, but according to your spec on the right side of the page, there's no barometer?? How does the altimeter work if there's no barometer? If this spec is incorrect, how much of the rest is wrong?

As most of altimeters, try to set up/check the referential altitude on a regular basis when you can. Use a map, use road signs, other topographic indications. Even if the Suunto barometric pressure analysis is very accurate, some repetitive changes in the weather conditions can lead to a small loss (few meters) of accuracy
