Hello - this platform was really designed for some North Face athletes that wanted a good hybrid on-road/off-road shoe. TNF doesn't specifically design shoes for on-road only applications, but this outsole will work well on the road. It is important to note that this is a neutral platform, and does not have any posting. Hope this helps
