No it's not. You could use it for spring skiing or as a midlayer for winter skiing, but it's not especially warm (200 weight), it's not windproof so your warmth will get stripped away pretty quickly while you're skiing, and it's not waterproof at all. I'd recommend it only as a midlayer under a windproof, waterproof outer layer or as a spring jacket for walking around in, not a winter ski jacket.
