These are fairly comfortable, esepcially once broken in, and will protect your feet (high rand) during sustained jamming. One problem with them is that they have so much rubber that they are quite warm, not a problem on a longer climb. Another problem is that they don't edge well, and are kind of floppy. They'd probably do OK
