Length question: Do these ski short or long. I am 5'11" and 185. Can I go with the 179 or do I need the 186. I will take them all over the mountain. Also how about pairing these with the marker Griffons?

I disagree with Shane. I feel that you should absolutely get the 186 for this ski. Line's ski short because of the twin-tip, and they also have a VERY short turn radius (look around the site and compare the 19.5m radius with other skis). Ski length is a function of WEIGHT and height, at 185lbs you should definitely be on the 186 in the Prophet 90. Going longer will also force you to ski a little faster to get the most out of the ski, which in turn will improve your technique.

I always like the longest length I can manage, but I am also bigger then you. The ski rides a little short due to the twin tips, but the big question is what you are used to. If you ski a 179 already, and are really confident but overpower them sometimes, go up. If not, the 179 will definitely be alright for you.
