Matt there are quite a few reviews out there on this topic but you want to go to respectable sites that do reviews. For example http://helmetcameracentral.com/2009/09/29/contourhd1080p-review-full-hd-wearable-camcorder/ I personally like the ContourHD better than the GoPro for a few reasons one main reason is that the software provided by vholdr makes your camera configurable. So you can change your contrast, mic settings, exposure...etc. This has to be one of the best features.

The ContourHD 1080P is right up there with the GoPro HD - both cameras are top of the line, no doubt about it.
