Would the small or large size size pants match up with a medium jackets powder skirt?

I have XXL Oakley pants and an XL Oakley jacket. The snaps for the powder skirt match up perfectly, but the zipper does not line up at all. I'm not sure if these pants are even compatible with the Oakley zip system, so if you're just using the snap system, then you should be fine.
