As a motorcycle commuter (120+ miles daily) who spent thousands finding a good riding jacket, I would only recommend a jacket made specifically for riding as the elements at speed will destroy your jacket and expose the fact that it wasn't designed for riding in. If you want a real jacket to block out the elements and still protect you, I would recommend Aerostitch.
