I live in New Jersey, would this be warm enough with a light fleece underneath it? Also, I am 5'10 and 125 pounds, what size would be good for me?

I would say it would be warm enough without a fleece underneath unless the temp was around the single digits and I would estimate that a medium would be the best fit for you.
