How does this differ from the spring 2009 version? The MHW webpage says this jacket is "new" even though it's been around for a year already.

Jon's right - overall fabric and design are very similar. Seems to be only asthetic changes. The picture on BC.com is of the 2008/2009 version. The new version has the Mountain Hardware logo on the left front pocket and nothing on the right side. The cuffs, upper left arm and rear collar also have a reflective MH logo.

Ian. There were minor detail updates (zipper pulls, velcro tab on the cuff etc.) to this jacket for fall. The shell fabric and overall design are unchanged.
