Westcomb Specter LT Hooded Jacket - Men's
Can anyone with this jacket in size Medium take an accurate weight...

Can anyone with this jacket in size Medium take an accurate weight measurement (in grams preferably) and post it?
Right now I'm, trying to decide between this jacket, or the backcountry.com stoic eVent jacket, mainly for ultralight backpacking, but it will be worn around town in the rain too.

I weighed my Specter LT Hooded Jacket size medium on a Sunbeam SP5 Electronic Scale and it came to 11.3 ounces (320 Grams). I absolutely love this jacket, not only for it's light weight, but excellent hood and fit. I can wear it by itself, but it also allows me to layer without feeling constricted. Obviously the Event 3-Ply material breaths exceptionally well which makes it an everyday jacket for me. Well worth the money...

I don't have a size medium but I have both the Specter and a BC Stoic in Size L. According to my scale (and I weigh absolutely everything) the Specter is slightly less weight- within an ounce or two- in that size. The fit is were the difference is. I find the Stoic is less roomy and a slim cut for my 6'2 frame. The Specter has a little more room in my size for layering underneath- so, they both have their respective purpose in my gear room. I like them both, but for ultralight stuff, I usually choose the Specter. Hope that helps a bit.
