Do you these bindings have an adjustment range (not DIN range). Once they are mounted can they moved forwards or backwards at all?

The ideal is +/- 1.5 size. Don't forget that a too wide adjustment in length, such as the one you find on rental bindings very often changes your balance on the ski

Yes, they can be adjusted. But the range is fairly small, can't drop down several sizes for your friend to try out.
