I'm 6'0" and 155lbs, was thinking about getting the small. I like slimmer fitting jackets, but was wondering if it would be too short?

it's cut shorter because it's meant to be an insulating layer — that way it won't hang out underneath the bottom of your shell.

Absolutely. I'm 5'8"ish and it comes right to my belt in the small. A little short for my preference, but overall a great fleece-bordering-on-softshell. The other Arc'teryx fleeces I tried were not as short. I don't know why this was cut this way.
