Can these articles of clothing be used for wrestlers/grapplers or will the friction during intense cotact destroy the material?

dont forget that your not allowed to wear anything under your singlet, and this would be rather slipery underneath another layer of spandex

Scott. The CW-X Stabilyx 3/4 tight is build extremely well with extra flat seams and very high stitch counts. So the durability under normal use is very good. However in wrestling I know that you are in contact with the mat a lot, and we have not had any specific testing to that extent. But I think the product itself can greatly benefit someone in your sport. I would definitely give them a try. I know we have several Mixed Martial Arts guys on our CW-X team using the product. They had great feedback for us. Good luck.
