In sleeping bag speak, a "draft tube" is a fully insulated tube of nylon next the bag zipper that prevents drafts, and a "draft collar" is a fully insulated tube of nylon on the inside top and bottom of the bag across the shoulders and neck area. Why does your website say that the Sierra Designs Verde 20 sleeping bag has a draft collar when the Sierra Designs website says that this bag has only a draft tube?

The draft tubes & collars are actually filled with the insulating/fill material, e.g. down, Climashield, etc. This significantly reduces any outside cold air from entering the bag & keeps warm body heat inside where you need it.

Tim, Good queston. I went into our showroom and took a photo (sorry for the craptacular quality) to explain why it only has a draft tube. The draft tube is continuous from the zipper around the opening for your head. It serves both as a draft tube and a draft collar. Hope this helps.
