The specs say that the bag stuffs that small because 12 X 6 is the size of the stuff sack. The bag can actually stuff smaller than that and the stuff sack has compression pulls on it to get it as small as it can go. Another line of bags that also packs seriously small is the Golite Adrenaline series. Great bags although they tap the wallet a little harder. Golite uses 800 fill as opposed to the 650 that Lafuma uses in these bags which gives the Golite more loft over the Lafuma relative to weight and size. I have been impressed with both the Lafuma warm'n light series and the Golite adrenaline series. Final note: The Lafuma is good but if your willing to drop the extra cash I would suggest going for the Golite Adrenaline.

Just in case no one has this bag to answer for sure, I'll just throw out there that if you've only had synthetic bags up to this point, it can seem hard to believe it'll stuff that small, but I've got a 40 degree down bag that I could stuff in a Nalgene bottle if I wanted to, so I'd believe 12x6 would be no problem for a 20 degree.
