I currently have a Suunto T1 (have had it for several years and absolutely love it). I have recently started running outside and would now like the added capability of seeing my distance displayed on my watch. I am looking into getting the T3C running pack but have not found anything that says whether the watch displays distance real time when paired with a POD or whether I have to wait until I sinc the watch up to the computer to get the distance info after my run is finished. Can someone help?

The Foot pod will give you a running total of the distance. You can see it in real time, as well as speed- then you can see max and average speed on the logbook after you're done. You can see all this on the watch without uploading to the computer. The PC Pod allows you to put logs on the computer, and graph it.
