The Gerber Gator ll is a "linerlock" not a "lockback." The blade locking mechanism is located in the body cavity & unlocks the blade by moving the liner either left or right. It is not unlocked by depressing the back of the knife. 154cm refers to the type of steel used in the blade."154CM: An American made premium grade stainless steel originally developed for tough industrial applications. Known for its best all-around qualities, it offers great corrosion resistance with good toughness and edge quality."I'm sorry but I don't know what "Gerber 154cm drop point" knife you're referring to.
