I love this jacket, but it will probably not cover your behind. One of the first things I noticed when I it arrived was how short it was, it hit right at my hips. I'm 5'4 weighing just a little less and was able to do a size small and fit a couple layers under it including a a thin fleece base layer with a fleece vest.
