Just to follow up: I received my Verdes today and the fit is just as I imagined it would. Being .5 size smaller than my Anasazi VCS, the Verdes are much tighter than I'm used to but I'd say the fit is dead on.

I've been climbing in Anasazi VCS Velcro in size 13s, which is my street size, for several months. I've been extremely pleased with these shoes but recently have been pushin' harder routes needing a tighter fit. I've ordered a pair of verdes in size 12.5 which according to several people, both here and in the gym, say should be perfect. Bottom line: Fit should be identical

I own both (velco and verde) and they fit my feet very similarly, however my Verde's are a .5 size smaller (8 vs 8.5)
