Has this jacket changed since the last years model? Specifically, the fit of the jacket? I have seen that the previous version was short and boxy.

The length is still around waist, so a shorter cut. I wouldn't consider it to be a boxy jacket at all, it's a slim fit, but boxy no. I'm 5'8" and own a medium. A super nice jacket for the money.
